Marker Comp 14.0 IBC Ski Bindings (110mm Brakes) 2008

For top-level skiers, the Marker Comp 14.0 IBC Ski Bindings are designed with Marker’s special World Cup race interfaces, only on a plate that allows them to be adjusted to a wide range of boot sole lengths. Magnesium sole-holders keep these speed demons strong and reliable, so you can focus on the down, and not on your bindings.
Special Features
Biometric Pro Toe recognizes the unfavorable force combination of a backward twisting fall and reliably reduces the release force. The mechanism is made of high quality construction materials and allows a Z-value dependent backwards release. This feature is exclusive to Marker.
TwinCam Heel is designed with a unique soft-entry feature. Step-in more quickly and easily, even in difficult snow conditions.
Recommended Use
The Marker Comp 14.0 IBC Ski Bindings are meant for advanced-level chargers that like to go fast.
DIN range - 5-14
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
Can be adjusted to a wide range of boot sole lengths by a certified binding technician

      This is a remarkable bargain at EVO. For the expert, racer, or professional skier, this is a heavy duty binding (DIN 6 to 14) in a lightweight and easy to adjust package. Marker's attention to detail stands out in the use of aluminum instead of plastic where appropriate. The ability to move the binding fore and aft on the hill provides you with the ability to make your ski behave "shorter" or "longer," with an elegant locking device.

          I love them, only problem I had was finding someone to install my bindings. Sport Chalet says they have every major plate for attaching bindings, but they wouldn't attach these ones after wasting 24 hours of my time. I ended up calling around and taking them to [@] (happy I did!) but it ended up being 2 days adventure and many miles in gas. So when you buy these, take them to [@] to have them Installed!

                      I bought these because they were recommended by a friend and were on sale. I'll admit that I do not really know what makes a "good" or "bad" binding, but I am not happy with these bindings. My main complaint is that the brakes do not lock together well and stay locked at all. With difficulty I can get them to lock, sort of, but pretty much any motion to them and they come apart. Thus, it makes my skis are really difficult to carry.
