Look PX Jib Wide Ski Bindings (100mm Brake) 2010: The Look PX 12 Jib Wide Ski Bindings are a high performance bindings for expert freestyle skiers. If you like to ride skis with fatty waists then these bindings are for you. Featuring a nice 100mm-wide brake, with the Look PX 12 Jib Wide Bindings, your big airs will have buttery landings with the 3mm shock absorbers in the toe piece and the shock and vibration absorption in the PX heel piece. And don’t stress about inadvertently popping out -- the lateral strength of the heel piece and lateral arms improves ski-to-boot connection.

  • Toe Piece:Single Pivot toe piece transfers maximum power to the ski while removing almost any change of play in the system.
  • Heel Piece:PX Race Heel piece and base gives you the extra bounce you need to reach higher out of the pipe while still allowing for a safe release // 3mm lifter plates provide extra cushioning for stomping tricks in the park.

    I live and ski in Vermont under all conditions. These bindings kept me attached to my boards and have released only when I thought they should. The heel release with my pole is a bit stiff, but this is quibbling. I'd buy 'em again, especially for the price.

    These bindings rock. They are solid and fool-proof.

    Like all bindings like this, they are difficult to release so I wouldn't recommend these to small/light people. I'm 150lbs and I have a little trouble opening the binding up on the hill.

    Regardless, I love these bindings and highly recommend them.

      I ski Vermont trails and woods. Had a similar/same? Dynastar labeled binding on Dynastar Legend 8000 skis last year and was satisfied enough that I put these on my new Prophet 90's. No pre-releases, no problems, easy enough to put back on in deep snow. Nitpicking- a bit tough to release binding to let boot out. Very satisfied.

      These bindings are solid. They're not the lightest, but the weight is still very manageable. Not something you notice unless you're used to something much, much lighter. They are made of polycarbonate, not metal, so they will get cosmetic dings more easily, but nothing that affects performance. It is easy to adjust forward pressure and DIN, though the range of adjustment is not huge (they are not a demo binding, you won't need it anyway). I have never had a pre-release, with the exception of gaining weight without compensating DIN to match. They release when I need them to, and not when I don't. The bang for your buck is awesome.

      In short, this is not the lightest nor the strongest binding on the market, however it does the job it is designed to do well for a low price point. Definitely a good buy.

      Great bindings. I mounted these on my Volkl Bridges and have been using them everywhere from groomers to powder. They feel solid and responsive.

      The only problem is that they are difficult to remove. The heel piece is very hard to push down. I found this a big problem when I yardsaled in powder and had trouble putting the heel piece down to click back in. I don't recommend these for beginners.
