When the adrenaline kicks in and you're shooting up or downhill, you need a binding that will keep up. The Fischer
Adrenalin 16 Short Ski Bindings are the ones for the job. The fully diagonal FR Pro Toe has a 180 degree release on it, reducing risk of injury to your ligaments and tendons, while the roller and glide inserts in the heel allow for a smooth and easy release. Don't let your bindings hold you back from exploring the far reaches of your ski area.
FR Pro Toe - The newly developed Freeride (FR) Pro Toe with its special construction and lateral spring provides an optimal and ergonomic center of rotation for ski touring. Mechanical adjustment of the toe’s gliding element (AFS) and automatic adjustment of the heel allow adaptation to both alpine and touring boot sole norms. The 70 mm AFS is wider,
resulting in a broader contact area to the ski boot sole and thus providing more stability, more direct power transmission and ultimate skiing performance. A stainless steel gliding element and two rollers provide the superior safety features with the
rapid and exact boot re-centering that skiers expect from Tyrolia - the perfect tool for a day in the backcountry to explore the mountains.
FR Pro Heel - The ultra-wide 80 mm heel track makes all the performance difference needed to take this product over the top. Extra width and the superior kinematics of Tyrolia's high performance bindings make it absolutely stable and reliable for perfect force transmission and unmatched performance. The heel can easily be adjusted to different boot sole lengths without any additional tools.
Climbing Aid - Tyrolia's exclusive In-Control climbing aid can easily be operated with a ski pole and is clearly visible for the skier. It can be positioned in three angles for optimal climbing position to match the mountain: 0 degree angle for walking on even terrain, 7 degree angle for a slow rise and a 13 degree angle for steep climbs. The 80mm wide climbing aid is positioned directly under the heel. Therefore, it offers incomparable stability and direct force transmission. Dampeners made of thermoplastic elastomers also provide low impact while climbing.
AAA - Ascender Lock - To Access All Areas, transitioning from skiing to hiking is incredibly fast, easy and convenient and can be done in every type of terrain without stepping out of the binding. Simply use the tip of the ski pole to move the highly visible, confidence-boosting Ascender Lock system to change between climbing and ski mode.
AFS Metal - The 68 mm wide slider plus a stainless steel gliding element provides constant release values and results in a broader contact area to the ski boot sole.
FR Pro Platform - Tyrolia's freeride binding platform provides the Tyrolia Freeflex function which allows the ski to flex so it can retain its natural dynamics. Freeflex is enabled by the free gliding plate that runs within the titanal heel track and is supported by the center of rotation of the binding toe.
Stand Height - 38 mm
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
SHORT (S) Binding for ski boot sole length of 270-330 mm
FR Brakes - For optimal fit to the ski’s width, different brake widths are offered for the Tyrolia Adrenalin: 88mm, 97mm, 115mm and 130mm.
