Dynastar PX14 Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2009: The sun has risen, the snow has fallen, and you are itching to carve some zigs and zags into that insane powder that’s coating the mountain in a divine blanket of purity. Take control of your carving and grab the Dynastar PX14 Ski Bindings immediately. These bad boys will lock you down in the most demanding of situations.
Special Features
PX Heel: 25mm of elastic travel, the longest travel of any binding on the market, preventing unwanted pre-releasing so that your ski will stay on when you want it to
Full Drive Toe: Four points of contact on the boot for maximum power transmission, 180 degree multi-directional release capabilities which aid in release, High elastic travel for vertical and lateral movements help to eliminate inadvertent release and offer shock absorption, AFD reduces friction in a release.
Recommended Use
Perfect for all-mountain, freestyle, and freeride skiing
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Construction
Reinforced housing throughout the toe piece for strength and a PX heel that features angled lateral arms that apply greater pressure to the edge of the ski to create greater power directly from the skier to the ski.

Great price for a higher DIN binding. No toe height adjustment. Rigid mounted AFD - so it won't slide out. Not the easiest binding to get in/out. IMO, if you use the tip of your ski pole on the rear binding to release your boot - you will muck-up the DIN adjust screw for the rear - making it hard to crank up/down in the future. So I don't use my ski pole. But at this low price makes a guy feel kinda guilty to complain - nothing major wrong with this binding. It works.

Comments about Dynastar PX14 Ski Bindings (120mm Brakes) 2009:

I have look/rossi/dynastar (all the same) bindings on all my skis. Never any problems. They have the most elasticity of any binding (never pop out on sketchy terrain). As far as I am concerned, these are the best.

I would recommend these bindings. I primarily use them on my all mountain and powder skis with its ability to have a bit higher DIN as well as being extremely strong. The only set back is they add a bit of weight to the set, but hey, it will just make my back and arms stronger :)

I mounted these on my Volkl Gotamas using the wider brake (2 sizes of brakes included in box), and they have been a great solid binding on powder days. Much more solid locked in feel than the Markers I have on my K2's. My only complaint is that initially they're a bit tough to get out of, and I snapped the tip off one pole when pushing down on the rear binding release. All said, good bindings & I'd rather replace a pole than break a leg.
