Recommended Use
The perfect bindings for All-mountain, freestyle, and freeride skiing
Compatibility
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15mm wider.
Construction
PX heel features angled lateral arms that apply greater pressure to the edge of the ski creating more power directly from the skier to the ski
25mm of elastic travel, the longest travel of any binding on the market, preventing unwanted pre-releasing so that your ski will stay on when you want it to
Full Drive Toe: Four points of contact on the boot for maximum power transmission, 180 degree multi-directional release capabilities which aid in release, High elastic travel for vertical and lateral movements help to eliminate inadvertent release and offer shock absorption, AFD reduces friction in a release

I bought these bindings after the plastic support of my PX12 Jib Bindings broke.

Now with the PX12 race bindings featuring the metal heelpiece, problem solved.

These are a great binding. however they are a bit on the heavier side. I use these mainly for freestyle and down hill and i have no complaints so far.

Good bindings for the month or so i've been on 'em. exactly what any lighter weight aggressive freestyler would need with the highest din of 12, i'm only 135 lbs but i ski fast and aggressive. only rock a din of 6, so there's plenty of room on either side. the toe-piece's swiveling feature worked perfectly, as it should, when i twisted weird on a 9. i thought it was broken at first but was informed otherwise when a shop guy fixed it instantly.

Comments about Dynastar PX 12 Racing Ski Bindings (80mm Brakes) 2010:

Great overall binding. I typically spend most of my day carving on blacks with a little adventure off-piste every so often. I felt totally in control on these bindings and the elastic travel advertised really does help with lateral movement and shock absorption. The only knock on these is that they are a little difficult to get in and out of, especially if you have the DIN set for a type III skier.
