Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Ski Bindings 2009 -Dynastar’s PX high performance technology once featured under the “Look” brand name, Dynastar offers the exact same tried and true experience and technology as Look Binding. The PX line is exactly what aggressive experts and progressive intermediate skiers are looking for. With especially responsive full energy transmission technology the Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Bindings translate all your energy into precision carving. The lateral strength of Dynastar’s suspended heel piece means more lateral support and less energy lost between ski and boot. With a maximum elastic travel of 25mm (more than any other bindings), the Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide’s ensure that you won’t be pre-releasing on a steep turn without compromising safety. Dynastar’s new PX line even boasts a “booster effect”. Springs in the Dynastar heel piece mean better rebound coming out of turns and additional thrust most other bindings don’t provide, so energy is rapidly redistributed as you change directions.

  • Max elastic travel:25mm of travel means no pre-releasing, while the multi-directional release means your safety is not going to be compromised by the strong hold these bindings have
  • Active energy transmission tech:exclusive lateral arm geometry and springs in the heel piece mean you will not lose energy in turning; in fact you will get a boost, which means better rebound as you exit turns.
  • All-terrain precision:Dynastar’s PX tech comes with a full drive toe piece with four contact points between sole and upper boot flashing so you can be sure to have control all over the mountain.
  • Exceptional Precision:Dynastar’s suspended heel piece and lateral arms have exceptional lateral strength that improves ski to boot coupling by 40%. More torsional strength means better control and response.

Great all around binding for a wider ski and it doesn't hurt the wallet too much. Still have not popped out of these bindings yet and I don't have them turned up anywhere near their max. Not sure if that is a good thing or not as I haven't taken any major diggers, but you definitely will not get any premature releases with these things. Bottom line, if you have a ski 90-106 or so, its a great choice if you are trying to save a few dollars.

I usually use these on the east coast, so i doint know how they would work in the west. I go back and forth between park and downhill whe i go and i havent had any problems with them while im skiing, but every once and a while they get really hard to click in. this doesnt happen too much and its the only con i can think of, but these are some good bindings overall.

Comments about Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Bindings 2009:

I've only had a few days on them, but paired up with the Dynastar Big Trouble ski, they are a great all-mountain set up. I'm not a big park guy, but I like steep and deep. It's nice to be able to get your ski back on easily in deep snow if you've had a blow out with the long heel piece. I would definitley recommend this product!

Comments about Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Bindings 2009:

Easy to install, and easy to get in and out of. When the DIN settings are set modestly, it's easy to pop out. But as seen as you crank them high, they're great. It was really difficult to adjust them once on the mountain. Not sure if it's cause it was cold out or what.

Great binding for the value, durable, not the flashiest, heaviest, lightest, or cheapest, but for 99% of what I do on the mountain this is great. I'm a weekend warrior type with 9-10 days a year.

I bought these bindings to go with my Icelantic Pilgrim 174's. Needless to say I am very pleased with this binding. It works great in powder, hitting jumps, or navigating the moguls. Also, works chasing my kids down the groomers. Just an overall great buy.
