Dynastar bindings are based on Look's technology. Look has always made a great binding that holds you in when you need it to, and let's go when you need it to also. What it doesn't do is pre-release - a VERY good thing. I have skied out of so many other binding brands - Salomon's, Tyrolia's, Marker's (only occasionally) and have not experienced this with the several pairs of Look/Dynastar bindings I have owned. I just wish they were a little lighter.

The product is a great beginners binding. The only problem is that it's mostly made of plastic so that it stays lightweight and it tends to chip and scratch easily. I guess it's a trade off, lightweight for durability. Overall I'm pretty happy with what i paid for.

    I am very happy with these bindings, awesome deal! Not so hot on the graphics, hoping to remove them with a bit of paint remover. To my surprise I had trouble finding a shop in my area that would mount the Dynastar bindings (doesn't seem to be a brand they commonly encounter). All in all awesome product. Thanks Evo!

      Good lightweight binding with 12 din but has odd naked girl graphics on the side (you can't see in the web picture). It looks like those profiles you see on truck wheel flaps. I have to explain to my daughters that their father isn't a dirty old truck driver.

        Bought these for my GF and they have held up well. Not a bad entry-mid level binding. I can tell you if you charge hard and are more expert level you would probably blow these out, but that's not who they're designed for.

            This is a solid binding that works as it should and perhaps other bindings should work this well. Only complaint is it is a little heavy. But, that is minor when you know you can rely on this binding to not pre-release when you don't want it to without having to crank the DIN.

            I had breakage issue with the rear of the binding.
            The first issue was with the brake mechanism that had broke but we were able to repair. Then the complete brake mechanism broke and is not repairable. The binding is usable w/out any brake..not a good combination. This set of bindings has been used no more than 10 ski days.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
