Salomon Lord Skis 2009: Want to feel like you’re in control of your domain? The Salomon Lord Skis will have you reigning all over the mountain. Style meets function in these freeride all mountain sticks. An edgy monocoque offers a unique and precise edge grip, while still providing enough energy efficiency from skier to snow for freeski practices. These shred-eating baddies also offer Salomon’s legendary rocker technology; a progressive inverse camber for a new generation of maneuverability and flotation. Take your rightful place at the head of these wide skis and get ready for strong edge grip on groomers, sweet float on powder, and a whole lot of play wherever you take them.

  • Rocker 210 mm / Semi twin tip tail
  • Pulse Pad:Elastomer layer all along the edge. Shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski/snow contact

Comments about Salomon Lord Skis 2009:

First powder day without these easy riders was the worst. Second day with even more powder, I demo'd these lords at 177cm and I floated thru the fluff, carved with good hold where I needed to and plowed right thru the crud with rock solid stability wherever it was. Wow, what an epiphany! I extended my demo time to three days. the best three days ever.

I bought them for use in back country touring in Niseko Japan and was hoping that they would still perform well on the piste - a 1 ski quiver. They exceeded my expectations. A great ski all round. Great in the podwer, but great carvers too.

Great skiis! handled everything that I threw at them - ice, hardpack, powder (eastern). Very stable, turned better than I expected from a fatter (for a mid-fat) ski.

Comments about Salomon Lord Skis 2009:

All around great skis. Skied them a lot out east in Vermont on variable terrain and took them out west to Jackson Hole where they floated right through the powder and cut up the crud.

They were great on groomers, with great edging and handled well in the bumps. I'm an advanced but not quite expert skier, and handle most on mountain conditions. I'm 6'1 and 180 and bought these skies in a 177 and loved them. Can't wait till next season to use them again.

Comments about Salomon Lord Skis 2009:

I ski mainly in the east, with the occasional trip out west so I wanted a ski that would get me through the soft stuff when I get the chance. These skis handled fresh snow with ease, but I haven't had the chance to try them in real powder yet. They did not do so well on the eastern hard pack. They tended to wander around on the icy conditions my Atomics excel at. Plus they tended to chatter a bit on the icy corduroy. However, just give them a little bit of good snow on top and they reign in just fine. I would definitely recommend them, especially to larger individuals, I am 6'4" 250lbs.

Comments about Salomon Lord Skis 2009:

I'm ~250 lbs and 6'1" skiing on the 185's. This was a great first pair of skis. I bought these skis in the off-season after my first time skiing (I LOVED IT!) and worked great in the subsequent season. It allowed me to go through many different kinds of terrain out west on Mt. Hood and gave me a sense of what I liked to ski on in terms of terrain and a sense of what I liked in terms of ski characteristics.

They're GREAT all-mountain skis if you're an intermediate-advanced level skier and are trying to get used to new terrain. They're also incredibly forgiving skis and I like the twin-tip -- skiing backwards and spinning is fun!

Comments about Salomon Lord Skis 2009:

These skis seem to perform well in every condition I've used them in this year. Slushy sticky snow. Nice sugary cover. Packed and icy. Groomers. My skiing skills are improving with these skis since they can go anywhere. I haven't had to bring out my Elan (super stiff) or my Atomic (beginner ski) to overcome any conditiion.

Also, people can't believe the deal I got on this website. :) And that's just as fun sometimes.
