This is a great board for someone that may be new to the sport but can pick it up quickly. It makes turning easy, feels really stable, and does well on groomers and deeper snow. It also seems like a board that's good to learn on, but will also last as you get better...it's aggressive enough. My only gripe is that my board's top edges chipped in a few places rather quickly. But it's a fabulous price, and I would definitely purchase this board again if I was making the decision all over.

I bought this board once I cracked my old one. I've been boarding for about 9 years now, so I'm pretty experienced, but when I needed a board last minute that was good quality and inexpensive- I grabbed this one. It's definitely not for someone of the intermediate/advanced level but more for a beginner or someone picking the sport back up or just trying to improve to that intermediate level.
Although it handles well on groomed surface, the ride isn't the best for free-ride or powder. However, it's flex is great when working on new tricks in the park and hitting rails, which is the main reason I purchased it. It did turn out a downfall when I ended up shredding powder off-piste the majority of the time after purchasing it. Did tend to get nicks easily, but that could also be from my rough riding habits. Overall- good performance, but keep it on the slopes or in the park!

Comments about Morrow Lotus Snowboard - Women's 2009:

This board was super easy to learn how to snowboard on, I immediately got my grind on with it, starting out on the bunny hill. It allowed me to get the feel for heel and toe turns then by the end of the day I was able to link them. It's a really good beginner snowboard and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get involved in the sport and look good while doing it.

Great board, I am a beginner so I just needed something to get me started. Light weight, quick, flexible, fast, this board is perfect for a very enjoyable ride. The one bad thing is I took it out for a month trip and it has already got four major dings where the paint is totally coming off on the top of the board. Overall, great product and I would definitely recommend it!
