Comments about Hyperlite Forefront Wakeboard 2009:

I am a recreational beginner/Intermediate rider. This board fit me well because It has been able to adapt with my style of riding. This board truly grows as the rider grows. I like the inbetween feel of a continuous/3-stage rocker. It also is great for edging. My toeside edge has never felt so clean. The one thing I dislike is how deep the board seems to ride in the water. I was learning tricks at slower speeds, but with this board a faster speed is better. Unfortunately, Slower is more comfortable because it hurts less, but the board performs better at a faster speed. I got used to the "ouch" as I'm sure all boarders do. The landing is my favorite with this board. It cushions the blow of the water by spreading the water out under the rider. It really feels nice. Unfortunately, because it gives so much, at a slower speed, your landing sinks a little too much. I love this board. The rotational and arial tricks are a sinch. I would suggest this board to anyone who is wanting to learn and have a board that can keep up!

Comments about Hyperlite Forefront Wakeboard 2009:

With your weight to the rear, fins keep board glued to the water on tight carves, a reassuring feel even in mildly choppy conditions. Shift your weight forward and the flat center section lets you get as loose as you want for slides/spins. The larger toeside fins really do help with the toeside edging compared to my old board. Very pleased overall!
