This Stuff Is Great

Comments about Nikwax Glove Proof 4.2 oz:
This stuff is great! It totally revamped an old (and I mean OLD!) gore-tex jacket and a pair of wool-lined leather gloves! The water just beads off! Amazing! I was really impressed with the leather! We all know wet leather sucks, its stiff and uncomfortable, but after treating with this stuff the leather is completely waterproof and stays soft!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Intermediate
This product worked great for adding a water repelling layer back to my gore-tex gloves. After application of the product, when holding the gloves under a running tap the water just runs off.Make sure to clean your gloves before applying the product.
Right stuff for your gloves
from Fremont, Ca
The Gebring gloves manufacturer recommends this treatment for gore-tex and leather gloves. It water proofs them while still leaving them flexible, warm and dry.
I like the sponging on action

I use this product to waterproof my new Herrington power heated gloves
Nikwax Glove Proof 4.2 oz by Nikwax
from Vancouver, WA. USA
As recommended by the Herrinton product instructions, I waterproofed my brand new Herrington S-2 heated Gloves (to deal with the very wet conditions here in the Pacific Northwest)
from Chicago IL
Worked exactly as advertised. I had a pair of gloves that had poor DWR finish. The outside fabric was quickly absorbing water. I applied this stuff as directed, let it dry, and poof! The gloves repelled the water like crazy. Awesome product, bottom line.Treated a pair of softshell snowboarding gloves.
Worked better than other water repellant

About Me Enthusiast
I've used other water repellant sprays and the Nikwax was noticeably better. I did about 4 applications with my new leather gloves and have only had to repeat twice in two years. Here in the Pacific Northwest you can plan on sloppy conditions and this year has been the worst in history (ask the folks in Vancouver.) My gloves have stayed mostly dry when they would otherwise be saturated. I would give 4 stars if this were perfect but I don't think that exists.
