The Nikwax Down Care Kit contains a 300ml bottle of Down Wash and a 300ml bottle Down Proof. Down Wash is a non-detergent, biodegradable liquid soap that removes dirt, body oils and detergent residues that contaminate the down, causing it to clump together and lose its loft while keeping the water-repellent finish intact. Down Proof adds water-repellency and revives breathability to your down items. Down Proof lasts for several washings and does not need to be reapplied after every wash.

    I love my down sleeping bags and comforters, but they almost needed to be replaced--until washing with Nikwax Down Wash & Proof! The original loft is back, with the original feel. It takes some time to wash and dry properly, but well worth it if your down gear has seen better days!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
