Outer Material
100% Nylon Ripstop
Membrane
2.5-layer H2No® Shell Fabric - Waterproof, windproof, breathable and highly packable, this material combines a water-repellent shell fabric with Patagonia's H2No® waterproof barrier and a raised pattern on the inside, instead of the full-coverage interior scrim used in 3-layer fabrics. The raised pattern makes 2.5-layer fabric packages lighter and more compressible while still protecting the waterproof barrier.

Additional Features
Deluge® DWR (Durable Water Repellent) Finish - Patagonia's Deluge® DWR lasts substantially longer than standard DWR; garments treated with Deluge® DWR have a "like new" water repellency after years of wear.
Drawcord hem
2-way adjustable, stowable hood with laminated visor
The microfleece-lined neck provides comfort and protects the waterproof/breathable barrier.
The Center-front zipper has exterior and interior storm flaps to keep water out.
Self-fabric hook-and-loop cuff closures
Pit zips have storm flaps and Deluge DWR-treated zippers.
Welded Composite Seams - Patagonia's advanced stitch-free construction for hard shells uses a form of sonic welding, reinforced with mesh and backed by thin tape. This unique design minimizes weight and speeds dry time. Stitch-free, welded seems improve the shell's performance by eliminating needle holes.
