Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat
    Flat
A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

Holy sheet music! Where did my bindings go? Oh right, they're still there, they are just so dang light I forgot. That's what most normal people say when they try out a pair of Union Flite Snowboard Bindings. Don't take our word for it though, try them yourself. With a wide array of weight-reducing technology, the Flite's are lighter than ever. The Flite base provides a super lightweight, freestyle oriented design that is made out of Union's top level Dupont™ Zytel® ST nylon. Throw on some comfortable leather straps, and an all-new Toe Buckle System with Push-Pin, and you got a customizable binding that is ready to take down the mountain. Take flight my friends!

Also, every Union heelcup undergoes an anodizing process—reinforcing the already bombproof apparatus with 30% more strength.

Universal Disks - Compatible with any traditional 4x4 mounting system and 3-hole board patterns. Channel Compatible Disc is available separately from Union to fit Burton snowboards with The Channel.
Grade 8.8 Hardware - The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding goes through, Union uses only the highest-strength steel, with a property class of 8.8.
