The new K2 LITE collection is designed by the K2 Women’s Alliance to deliver boards that are focused on good times and smart innovation.. The K2 Eco Lite Snowboard is based on the tried and true Eco Pop, and works well for the woman rider who ranges all over the mountain and needs a board that can handle every type of snow. The K2 Eco Lite Snowboard features K2’s new Harshmellow™ damping system under the binding mount zones and Hybrilight™ Construction.
Flex
The K2 Eco Lite Snowboard is built with a moderate amount of flex behind its lightweight, strong construction. The board is enhanced to reduced vibration and contribute a better ride.
Shape
All Terrain Rocker® (30% Rocker / 70% Flat) makes turns effortless on hardpack but also provides superior float in soft snow.
Tweekend™ shaping modifies the tip and tail of K2 boards by extending the rocker curvature all the way to the ends of the board, giving you more surface area to press, float and land on.
Twin Hyper Progressive sidecut makes turn initiation effortless without making the board hooky.
Construction
Hybrilight™ construction with Hybritaper™ keeps the K2 Eco Lite Snowboard solid but lightweight.
Rhythm WH3 Core is made of three species of renewable wood assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance damping. Two strips of urethane-skinned Honeykomb™ are added between the bindings for strength.
Triax/ICG 10 glass laminate with diagonal layers stiffen the board torsionally for improved edge hold and stability.
Carbon Web™ I is designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology and brings the pop of carbon closer to your feet.
Additional Features
Harshmellow™ shock absorbing compound in the area of the mounting inserts guarantees a smooth and vibration-free ride
4000 Sintered P-Tex is the fastest base material available. It’s exceptionally durable, absorbs wax better and retains it longer.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

Comments about K2 Eco Lite Snowboard - Women's 2013:

This board can handle absolutely anything you throw its way. This is by far one of the hardest charging yet smoothest boards I've ridden on a pow day or on groomers.

With a flat profile underfoot and the perfect amount of rocker in the tip and tail, this board has amazing edge control on groomers and incredible float in pow. The Harshmellow really stands out on landings and helps make for a super smooth ride even through choppy zones.

What really stands out about this board is its lightweight construction. The Hybrilight construction really cuts down on weight without sacrificing any performance whatsoever. This board feels like a feather, yet it can charge through any type of conditions (even those heavy PNW mashed potato pow days).

The only negative thing I have to say about this board is that the woven topsheet seems to be just a touch more sensitive to scrapes and dings. Just show a little more love to this board and she'll love you back!

I recommend this board for intermediate - advanced riders who are looking for a go-to board that can handle any type of condition.

    Comments about K2 Eco Lite Snowboard - Women's 2013:

The eco lite is my new favorite board. Just like the name says, its super lightweight, and very lively! I found it to be extremely versatile, and handled all conditions well. It was surprisingly damp for such a light board, and very responsive. The top sheet is also very durable, and does not show wear and tear.
    Check it out!!
