The K2 Annex 98 Skis are all-mountain wonders that do it all, and do it well. The Annex is super quick underfoot, and combined with K2's All Terrain Rocker, this ski loves to take on the deep days. The Annex 98 is reared and ready to take you all over the ski area, whether it's the back country or anywhere else.
All-Terrain Rocker – Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Medium Flex
Freeride Stability Baseline 2.0 – Powder-focused long rise tip with All Terrain Rocker for awesome float in powder, moderate sidecut with low camber for predictable and consistent turns, and a tapered but flat tail for versatility with dependable finishing power
Powder Tip – Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
Directional Taper – Moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction.
Aspen / Paulownia / Maple – A combination of stout, vibration dampening hardwoods and the lightness of Paulownia
Metal Laminate Construction – Alternating layers of wood and Titanal provide a smooth and damp ride that excels at speed and on hard snow
Hybritech Sidewalls – A blend of sidewall and cap constructions that enables a very light ski without sacrificing edgehold.
K2 Skin Grommets – Built in tip and tail attachments for K2 skins give you the lightest and cleanest skin system available.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
