When you're crossing the Alps with elephants in tow, you'd probably want to keep your gear weight to a minimum, too. The Fischer Hannibal 100 Skis do just that, while giving you plenty of surface area to handle deeper and thicker snow should it come your way. The Hannibal 100 is visually striking with a pointy, surf-inspired tip and Aeroshape rounded topsheet, and it handles easily in any type of snow. You'll be amazed at the Hannibal 100's ultra lightweight versatility and power - now get out there and conquer the Alps like this ski's namesake.
Tour Rocker – Gentle rocker at the tip with camber underfoot.
Tapered Tail
Aeroshape – The topsheet of the ski forms a broad sphere, leaving the ski thickness normal in the center but radically reduced at the edges in the tip and tail. This shape not only reduces mass, but increases torsional strength and leaves a streamlined side profile in soft snow.
Super Light Paulownia Core – Ultralight wood used in ski making. Used specially for touring skis -- either with cap or sandwich design.
Air Tec Ti Wood Core – Fischer brings their patented Nordic technology to alpine skis in this elaborate, offset milling structure which reduces core weight by 25% without affecting flex or torsion.

Fischer's used their "Crown" technology for years on their Crown waxless touring skis, and to great success. It was only a matter of time before someone thought of using that same concept - a patterned ski base - and adapting it to use as a climbing ski with normal alpine touring skis. The Fischer Profoil Hannibal 100 Climbing Skins are exactly that, a very thin sheet of textured ski base material with exceptional glide and excellent grip in most snow. These skins are cut to match the footprint of the Hannibal 100 skis in specific lengths and use the Fischer Profoil attachment system (requires a specially shaped hole in the tip of the ski).
Textured Polyethlene Sheet – Excellent grip, superior glide, and totally waterproof.
Profoil Tip Attachment and Adjustable Rear Strap
Crown Glide – Take longer strides and benefit from the ultra low gliding coefficient of the new Profoil skins.
Crown Grip – Maximum grip and any snow conditions, warm or cold, wet or dry.
Waterproof – Say goodbye to the days of your skins doubling in weight from absorbing water during a tour.
Solvent Free – Environmentally-friendly materials that don't use solvents.
