Scott 'Sleepy' Stevens is arguably one of the better urban riders of all time, that means he demands a board that can keep up with him. The CAPiTA Scott Stevens Pro Snowboard is now available in three sizes that are inspired from the Transworld Top Ten Good Wood winning Ultrafear. This board has a very damp feel that remains crazy durable during hardcore rail sessions and even more wild jibs and bonks. You may not be able to ride this freestyle maniac of a board quite as well as Sleepy Stevens can, but you can sure try!
Rocker Type
DBX 157; Freeride FK - This revolutionary all-mountain shape provides the best of both worlds. It has a raised camber platform through the inserts to retain high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, and elevated contact points to land and float in powder.
Flat Kick Technology - With Flat Kick design technology CAPiTA has tightened the profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height. This is a key area that influences the tempo and feel of turn initiation. With traditional larger tip and tail arcs, the loaded camber contributes to a board's acceleration into a turn. On reverse camber boards the contact points are elevated, removing this camber contribution. As a result, the same traditional tip and tail radii would make the board feel sluggish. Specialized Flat Kick tip and tail arcs combined with elevated reverse camber contact points achieve the ideal tempo into turns. This allows you to have the shorter effective edge of a forgiving, easy to ride, reverse camber snowboard that is still responsive and quick during edge-to-edge transitions.
Flex
Flex 5.5 - 5.5, perfect for the hardcore, heavy-hitting jib master.
Shape
True Twin - Ride switch, regular, or upside down, this board won't care; completely symmetrical from tip to tail.
Sidecut
Radial; True Twin - A radial sidecut is a single radius design that allows your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc. Centered stance.
Core
DC Select RFC Sustainable Dual Core - The DC SELECT Core was built for next level performance. It's lightweight, with no irregularities or finger joints which provides the most uniformly flexing core available. The DS core is constructed with the highest-quality poplar and beech woods. Beech is placed along the rails, enabling the rider to hold a solid edge while carving, eliminating chatter as high speeds and contributing more powder to ollies and landings. Poplar strips are fused with the beech sections for increased strength and vibration absorption. The DC SELECT offers a consistent, comfortable, and powerful ride in certified sustainable full wood core.
Laminates
Custom Weave - The CUSTOM WEAVE configuration features a resin/glass application borrowed from the marine industry, which yields much stronger and rigid qualities allowing the board to have decreased wood core thickness. The main focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. The biaxial/triaxial fiberglass combination creates more response while increasing strength and durability.
Sidewalls
Die cut sidewalls with 1.5 mm dampening system
Base
Wax infused rotation sintered base - These bases are created by taking pellets of ultra-high-molecular-weight Polyethylene and compressing them through heat and pressure. The minuscule spaces left behind absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding as the wax wicks to the surface while you ride. This prevents your base from drying out and keeps the surface feeling freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are consistently the predominate first choice of pro snowboarders worldwide.
Edges
360 degree steel edges
Topsheet
PLT topsheet technology
Graphics
Die cut + Silkscreened combo base graphics
Additional Features
4x Carbon Fiber Load Bars - Known for its rigidity, high tensile strength, low weight, high temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, carbon is one of the most popular materials used in today's high performance applications. This lightweight, strong material, when molded into a snowboard, increases powder and response while remaining ultralight
Aluminum logo base inlay
Black Fleece Additives - This thin layer of black glass increases strength in key break zones helping to reduce board failure.
Binding Compatibility
4x2 Inserts

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

Lightweight response seems to be the thing all riders strive for, none more that Union rider Gigi Rüf . The Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings offer the lightest weight material, the smallest, most evenly-distributed board flex in the game, and Gigi's stamp of approval. Full of options to increase strength like the Dupont™ Zytel® ST, the Contact Pro is stable and easy to ride in all conditions. Grab a pair of these flossy bindings, throw them on your board, and hit the slopes, knowing that you'll be a whole level above the rest with a binding that decimates its opponents.
Baseplate
Contact Pro Base - Strength-to-weight ratio that is second to none. Similar to the original Contact Pro base just better and more durable, with the same old Lifetime Warranty.
Dupont™ Zytel® ST - The highest-quality nylon, used on all Union baseplates, results in strength, safety, security and the confidence of a lifetime warranty.
All-New Multi Density EVA Bushings - Multi-zone full bottom bushing system for a stronger, better baseplate.
Straps
3D Direct-Connect Strap System - Multi-Layer Tapered Strap Core evenly distributes pressure.

Multi-Layered Tapered Strap Core
Magnesium Buckles - The magnesium in the buckles is four times the strength of aluminum with only half the weight. Plus, it is easily recycled.
All-New Toe Buckle System - Multi-positional options with open Ultra Grip™ Design

Highback
Contact Pro Highbacks - Incredibly light and comfortable, Gigi Ruf approved. Symmetrically made for an even and controlled response.

Shift-on-the-Fly Forward Lean - Quick and easy to use, adjust your forward lean with a simple flip of a knob then slide it to wherever you want and re-lock it. Easily done while waiting in those pesky lift lines.
Additional Features
All-New Extruded 3D Aluminum Heelcups - This process removes material to reduce weight but maintains strength.
Grade 8.8 Hardware - The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding goes through, Union uses only the highest-strength steel, with a property class of 8.8.
All-New Universal Mini-Disk - Fits on every board, including the Burton Channel System just with a minimal contact frootprint design to allow even board flex. Mini, but tough as nails.
Tested and approved by Gigi Rüf
