Some groms are just so dang aggressive that they demand a board that can slay the park while pops is landing his Cab-7's. If this is your little guy, then the CAPiTA Micro Scope Kid's Snowboard is a solid choice for park and jib minded children. With a convex shape the edges are raised off the snow so you don't have to worry about catching an edge on a box or on the groomer. Expect a board that is just like any other CAPiTA jib board, just in a microscopic version.
Flat Kick Technology – With Flat Kick design technology CAPiTA has tightened the profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height. This is a key area that influences the tempo and feel of turn initiation. With traditional larger tip and tail arcs, the loaded camber contributes to a board's acceleration into a turn. On reverse camber boards the contact points are elevated, removing this camber contribution. As a result, the same traditional tip and tail radii would make the board feel sluggish. Specialized Flat Kick tip and tail arcs combined with elevated reverse camber contact points achieve the ideal tempo into turns. This allows you to have the shorter effective edge of a forgiving, easy to ride, reverse camber snowboard that is still responsive and quick during edge-to-edge transitions.
Micro RC – Built for the mini-shredder that wants to jib and ride in the park with pops. Durable and flexible this core can withstand anything a grom can throw at it.
3 Flex – Jib, press, and jump your way to victory with a board that's flexible and ready to destroy anything urban or park oriented.
True Twin – Ride switch, regular, or upside down, this board won't care; completely symmetrical from tip to tail.
Radial; Twin – A radial sidecut is a single radius design that allows your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc. Centered stance.
WDT Engineered Jib Core – The WDT Core was designed to give jibbers and park riders the softer flex patterns they want without sacrificing durability. Short for 'Wood Derived Technology,' the patented process of pressure bonding wood composite material retains the classic feel of a full wood core board while increasing flex values. Engineered for freestyle, park, and street rail boards the WDT core has high elasticity characteristics surrounding low-density wood fibers. This balance provides a new realm of lightweight, soft flexing boards, with a damp ride and dependable durability.
Pre-Preg 420 – Engineered to compliment the WDT Core construction, the Pre-Preg 420 configuration consists of 370 grams of e-glass in the zero direction and 50 grams of e-glass in the 90 direction. It's pre-pregged for consistency and exits the mold with a high yield of energy memory.
Silkscreened ABS bomb proof sidewalls
HTP Extruded – The High Transparent Extruded base features an altered molecular composition that allows more vibrant graphic options while keeping the low maintenance and technical benefits of extrusion.
