Some groms are just so dang aggressive that they demand a board that can slay the park while pops is landing his Cab-7's. If this is your little guy, then the CAPiTA Micro Scope Kid's Snowboard is a solid choice for park and jib minded children. With a convex shape the edges are raised off the snow so you don't have to worry about catching an edge on a box or on the groomer. Expect a board that is just like any other CAPiTA jib board, just in a microscopic version.
Rocker Type
Flat Kick Technology - With Flat Kick design technology CAPiTA has tightened the profile radius that blends the shoulders of the board into the tip and tail height. This is a key area that influences the tempo and feel of turn initiation. With traditional larger tip and tail arcs, the loaded camber contributes to a board's acceleration into a turn. On reverse camber boards the contact points are elevated, removing this camber contribution. As a result, the same traditional tip and tail radii would make the board feel sluggish. Specialized Flat Kick tip and tail arcs combined with elevated reverse camber contact points achieve the ideal tempo into turns. This allows you to have the shorter effective edge of a forgiving, easy to ride, reverse camber snowboard that is still responsive and quick during edge-to-edge transitions.
Micro RC - Built for the mini-shredder that wants to jib and ride in the park with pops. Durable and flexible this core can withstand anything a grom can throw at it.
Flex
3 Flex - Jib, press, and jump your way to victory with a board that's flexible and ready to destroy anything urban or park oriented.
Shape
True Twin - Ride switch, regular, or upside down, this board won't care; completely symmetrical from tip to tail.
Sidecut
Radial; Twin - A radial sidecut is a single radius design that allows your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc. Centered stance.
Core
WDT Engineered Jib Core - The WDT Core was designed to give jibbers and park riders the softer flex patterns they want without sacrificing durability. Short for 'Wood Derived Technology,' the patented process of pressure bonding wood composite material retains the classic feel of a full wood core board while increasing flex values. Engineered for freestyle, park, and street rail boards the WDT core has high elasticity characteristics surrounding low-density wood fibers. This balance provides a new realm of lightweight, soft flexing boards, with a damp ride and dependable durability.
Laminates
Pre-Preg 420 - Engineered to compliment the WDT Core construction, the Pre-Preg 420 configuration consists of 370 grams of e-glass in the zero direction and 50 grams of e-glass in the 90 direction. It's pre-pregged for consistency and exits the mold with a high yield of energy memory.
Sidewalls
Silkscreened ABS bomb proof sidewalls
Base
HTP Extruded - The High Transparent Extruded base features an altered molecular composition that allows more vibrant graphic options while keeping the low maintenance and technical benefits of extrusion.
Edges
360 degree steel edges
Convex edges
Topsheet
Sublimated gloss topsheet
Binding Compatibility

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
