This is a bomber lock for skis and snowboards. The looping mechanism is pretty cool because it allows you to make a loop for locking anywhere along the length of the cable, which makes it really useful. This is a heavy-duty cable lock, much tougher than the typical retractable cable lock. I usually leave it on the ski rack instead of carrying it with me because it is a little heavy and bulky. If security is your need, this lock meets it.
