Great jacket really can't go wrong here. Made out of a tough durable material that will hold up against contact with rocks and trees. Its gore tex so don't really need to mention its waterproof, breathable and windproof. But like all techinical shells you will need to layer up on the cold days

Great Jacket overall. I had to return it for a size smaller. I am 6ft 190LBS, and usually wear a size large in winter gear. The sleeves were longer than I prefer, practically covering my entire hand, and the chest was too roomy. I felt like I a kid wearing his dads clothes. I put on the typical layers that I would be wearing under this jacket while out snowboarding, and the chest was still too big. I sent it back for a Medium. The sleeve length was perfect on the Medium, the chest feels better, although it is a little snug when I put on with my R4 underneath. But I don't think it will restrict my movement enough to make a big difference. I think it will be fine as long as I layer it with light weight fleece and base-layers which is usually how I ride. It's also a great jacket to throw over a sweater while out walking the dog or heading to the grocery store when it's snowing outside. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.
