This is a good jacket for the price. I just use it for resort skiing. Its not a technical jacket and is a bit heavy in general, but works just fine when skiing at the local hill. I like the style and colors best. The design of the jacket is well thought out for newschoolers, including an MP3 player pocket with an internal hole to connect to your headset. The pockets are big enough to accomodate most things you will need to store (ski straps, wallet, etc.). The hood fits well and the magnet snap system is nice for keeping the hood out of your way. And finally the powderbelt does a good job of keeping the snow out of your pants and shirt if you happen to tomahawk your way down the mtn or on deeper days. I have yet to make a full decision on the 10K waterproofing, although that is very important up here in the PNW.
