Full disclosure: I'm a Flylow athlete. I've been testing Flylow gear sinse the "Lab Coat"(Flylow's first shell) and the Quantum is by far their best shell to date. I've skied Mt. Baker in full rain for hours in this shell and remained warm and dry. I love the huge armpit vents and the large stash pockets (great for skins or beers).

I ski about 60 days per season and my Quantum jacket has held up better than any other jacket I have ever owned! It is still waterproof and looks good after many days of skiing and touring in the wet northwest. The jacket fits great and has awesome internal pockets for the important things like your iPhone, and skins. I also like this jacket and all my flylow gear, because it stands out from the crowd. Props to Flylow for nailing it on this one!

This coat is worth the $! Protects from the elements, and breaths like no other. Hiking up to get the fresh stash? Just open up the pit zips and avoide over heating. I don't know what these guys did to design coat that preforms so well.

Full disclosure: I received the Flylow Quantum jacket due to my affiliation with Cat Ski Mount Bailey in southern Oregon.

I have used the Flylow Quantum jacket as my primary hardshell for the past 3 seasons and it has performed flawlessly. As a backcountry ski guide in the southern Oregon Cascades, staying dry and comfortable is imperative to having a fun day in horrendous weather conditions. The jacket is comfortable while wearing a pack and still allows access to all of the pockets and accessories. Highly recommended.
