The women's Sentinel jacket fits well enough that I can forget it's there--it stays close to the body yet doesn't restrict movement. I tried on many jackets and this one's the best fit for a tall, hourglass figure with long torso and long neck. Sizing is a bit snug at the hip, but okay. I hope to move to Seattle and this will be my everyday jacket. I don't do "snow sports" but plan to take day-long walks with intervals of sitting in coffee shops, so the ability to adjust the ventilation of the jacket with pit-zips is important. Haven't been able to test waterproofness -- no rain lately in Sacramento. Only improvement I can suggest for the Sentinel jacket would be zip-in down liners.

I use this primarily as my go to jacket for backcountry ski action. It's lightweight, versatile and warm and it opens up nicely for ventilation when you're working hard. I got this jacket for a steal from evo and would definitely purchase again. I'm not overly tough on my gear so this jacket should last years. A great purchase for the active indeed.
