The Volkl RTM 77 Skis + 4Motion 11.0 Bindings are here to meet all your skiing needs. Part of Volkl's RTM (Ride The Mountain) line, The RTM 77s are made for the advanced frontside skier who wants a ski that can handle some soft snow every now and again. With full rocker in the tip, and a very capable 77 mm underfoot, the RTM 77s are definitely geared for hardpack but still maintain those silky smooth turns throughout the mountain. Only thing that makes this ski better is that it comes with the 4Motion 11.0 Bindings, so you really don't have to stress about anything.

Rocker Type
Full Rocker – A smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail, with matching sidecut and flex. Extended Low Profile (ELP) gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain.
Core
Dual Wood Core – As the name suggests, the Dual Wood Core consists of parallel strips of wood surrounded by PU. Featured in the XTD Progressive construction, it is layered with extra glass sheets top and bottom for added ski rebound.
Laminates
Powered by Steel – A thin layer of steel provides excellent torsional rigidity and stability on choppy snow.
Edges
XTD Transmission – A softer feel and increased edge pressure helps push skiers to the next level of speed and confidence.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Rocker Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.
