Yes ladies, Yes. has included you in the 2014 lineup. The Yes. Hel Snowboard is new to the Yes. line up and is ready to shred everything from icy hardpack to untouched pow by some serious lady rippers. The Hel is designed with a directional flex and a twin shape for all-mountain versatility, with a narrower waist than a guy's board to accommodate a smaller shoe profile. The Hel also features the same durable and poppy core as the Yes. TDF and Trouble, but has a biax glass lay up to allow more torsional flex. Finished with two bumps in the sidewall to give the Hel extra edge hold on the hardpack and ice, this board is ready to roll wherever you decide to take it.
Camber + Rocker Directional – 4 mm rocker on the nose, 4 mm camber between your feet, 2 mm rocker on the tail. A higher rocker in the nose offers better float in powder, while traditional camber between your feet creates aggressive edge contact and a more responsive release from turns.
Directional Twin – Having a directional twin shape snowboard is ideal for riders who want to cruise the entire mountain. The nose is just a tad longer than the tail. The design is versatile enough for freestyle, with improved floatation and faster turning in the powder.
Disrupted Sidecuts – The Hel has a slight "bump-out" running parallel to the sidecut at each of the binding areas, breaking up the edge and focusing the traction at the point of power - your feet.
Core 3 – Two densities of poplar with beech impact blocks.
Biax Top – Creates even, neutral, torsional flex properties, resulting in more control and easier handling of the board.
Biax – Biax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in two directions. The fibers are braided vertically at 90 degrees. This ensures a torsional flex that is more evenly distributed throughout the snowboard. For you, this translates to a snowboard that is easy to handle and jib friendly.
Die-cut Sintered 2000 – Harder and faster than extruded
5x2 – Insert Pattern
