Yo parkrats, K2's designed the K2 Domain Skis with you in mind. The Domain specializes in surface swaps, butters, nollies, manuals, and grindage. The Traxial Braid and TwinTech sidewall will keep the ski alive during the gnarliest of wipeouts and busts. Try center mounting this ski to maximize park performance.
Jib Rocker – Featuring an elevated tip and tail with zero camber underfoot, Jib Rocker offers the best blend of playfulness for butters and surface tricks combined with enhanced pop for unmatched ollie power. Simply put, Jib Rocker is designed for ollies, butters, and predictable pop.
Park Flex Pattern – Soft enough in the tips and tails to be forgiving when you underspin that move. Stiff enough underfoot for amplitude to clear that gap.
Symmetrical Taper – A symmetrical ski has a switch arc that is equivalent to its forward arc. To maximize performance, the mounting location is in the absolute center of the ski
Aspen – A wood known for its strength and durability
Triaxial Braid – Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
TwinTech Sidewall – Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. Traditional sidewall construction produces a 90 degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the topsheet angle and making the ski less prone to damage from your edges.
Swap Base – Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.
Tip and Tail Hardware - Rivets for durability
