The Rossignol Super 7 Skis are hard-charging, pow-slayers perfect for the powder-seeking expert skier who pushes just a little bit harder. Featuring two layers of titanal, this beefed-up version of the S7 delivers increased stability and liveliness for aggressive rippers. The Powder Turn Rocker delivers fatigue-free maneuverability, effortless steering and instant speed control. A Centered Sidecut provides the all-terrain versatility and edging power simply not found in other wide-waisted, rockered skis. With an award-winning blend of versatility and float, the Super 7 Skis will up your game whether you're slashing through secret stashes or surfing through backcountry pow. This package includes Marker Baron Small Ski Bindings, suited for lighter-weight big mountain skiers who want the ability to skin combined with the alpine performance of the triple-pivot toe and inter-pivot heel.
Powder Turn Rocker – A profile with 50% standard camber in the center of the ski and 50% rocker at the tip and tail, the slight underfoot camber makes the skis grippy on groomed trails. The tip rocker makes its presence felt, giving better flotation in powder and paving the way for new experiences without tiring the skier. The tail rocker gives better steering and control.
Centered Sidecut – A very short, shallow sidecut underfoot gives grip and power in the very center of the ski while freeing the tip and tail for liveliness. Fun, control, and versatility.
Titanal in the core adds incredible longitudinal and torsional rigidity
Sandwich Laminate – A wood core with metal and/or high tech laminates provides ultimate stability, power and durability.
Traditional sidewalls apply direct pressure to the edges for increased precision and edging power
Marker Baron Small Alpine Touring Bindings
Triple Pivot Elite Toe – With a horizontally oriented spring, it provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use.
Integrated Gliding AFD – Gliding Anti-Friction Device (AFD) provides consistent lateral release with rockered and lugged AT boot soles.
Inter Pivot Heel – Focusing power in the direction of the boot sole to increase elasticity, this overall design creates optimum power transmission.
EPS System – Dual-screw brake pad
Backcountry Comfort – The patented, ergonomically shaped lever under the boot allows comfortable opening and closing. The actuating arm moves from ski to hike mode is made of Carbon.
Touring Base Plate – The wide frame construction is secured at several positions, perfectly distributing the pressure for unparalleled skiing performance.
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis – Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
Spoon Tip – The tip is wide and raised so that the very tip can be used for control in powder: very useful for all the new techniques of modern freeride. The shape also gives better flotation.
