The Rossingol Sickle Skis + Axial 2 Speedset Bindings pick apart big lines and backcountry booters with swagger and style to spare. The Sickle slashes powder and crud with ease, butters natural features with style, and inspires confidence in most any condition. Spin Turn Rocker is a 100% full rocker shape that delivers unsurpassed float and playful manueverability in powder and backcountry shred-mode. This banana camber shape gives the ski a silky, buttery feel and compliments the full length Extended Sidecut, allowing them to rail on hardpack as well. With WRS and Jib Tip technology, the Sickle has a smooth, even swing weight when going big, while the beefy wood core construction provides a damp and stable landing pad. The Sickle is a superhero ski with a playful versatility and surfyness that will leave you grinning ear-to-ear while claiming every line in sight. Note: This ski/binding package is used.
Spin Turn Rocker – A full rocker shape with no camber underfoot makes for a playful ski that spins easily with tons of pop energy and float in deep powder.
Extended Sidecut – By continuing the sidecut beyond the contact point, as speeds and edge angles increase, more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds, the edge angles and sidecut engage slightly less for more maneuverability.
Poplar Wood Core – Poplar cores provide skis with a lightweight, lively ride that has excellent ski-to-snow feel and a damp feel.
MiniCap ROSSITOP – This construction strengthens the top of the ski increasing durability. 30 degree sidewalls improve swing weight and reduce ski’s overall weight, enhancing edging and durability.
Jib Absorption System – This has a rubber layer between sidewall and edge for shock absorption with an extra thick layer sandwiched in the tip and tail to absorb landing shocks and increase durability.
Axial 2 Speedset Bindings – Angled lateral arms and a wider footprint provide better power transmission and a better connection to wider boards.
Din range of 3.5-12
Bindings come mounted to skis but need to be adjusted for you and your ski boots. Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
Jib Tip – A rounder tip shape with a rubber layer absorbs shocks and is extremely durable.
WRS (Weight Reduction System) – This patented fiberglass layup concentrates materials underfoot while reducing the density in the tip and tail for increased durability while shaving 400 grams off of a pair of skis.
Note: This ski/binding package is used.
