Product Info

The Rossignol Experience 98 Skis + Axial 2 Speedset Bindings are powerful all-mountain chargers that combine beefy construction with a surprising versatility and ease-of-use for strong expert skiers. AutoTurn Rocker combines a slightly rockered tip and tail with traditional camber underfoot to create a ski equally at home floating through deep pow or laying trenches on groomers. On hardpack and variable snow, the traditional camber delivers power, energy and edge grip while the rockered tip and tail dramatically improve turn initiation. Combined with a 98 mm waist, the AutoTurn Rocker profile blasts through chop and crud and floats through the silky deep. Ski pow all morning, rip groomers in the afternoon, all on one super-powered ski. Whether charging glades, bowls or hardpack, the Experience 98 is a true one-ski-quiver and a new breed of all-mountain high performance skis. Note: This is a used Ski/binding package.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Auto Turn RockerA high camber underfoot with a low rocker in the tip and tail provides the best of both worlds. Camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for groomed run performance, and subtle rocker in the tip and tail delivers easy steering and effortless speed control for versatility in any terrain or snow type.

Sidecut

Extended SidecutBy continuing the sidecut beyond the contact point, as speeds and edge angles increase, more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds, the edge angles and sidecut engage slightly less for more maneuverability.

Core

Wood Core

Titanal in the core adds incredible longitudinal and torsional rigidity.

Laminates

Sandwich LaminateA wood core with metal and/or high tech laminates provides ultimate stability, power and durability while traditional sidewalls apply direct pressure to the edges for increased precision and edging power.

Control Beam combined with Twin VAS absorbs vibrations and facilitates rebound by direction pressure to the extremities.

Included Bindings

New, wider binding platform designed for wide skis (80 mm+) increases leverage, enhancing power and precision.

Axial 2 Speedset BindingsAngled lateral arms and a wider footprint provide better power transmission and a better connection to wider boards.

Din range of 3.5-12

Bindings come mounted to skis but need to be adjusted for you and your ski boots. Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.

Additional Features

Note: This ski/binding package is used.

Cascade TipMade up of varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths, this construction technique make the tip lighter to improve swing weight and provide quick, adaptable turn initiation.
