Thanks to new Backbone technology with its special shape, wide all-mountain skis benefit from perfect flex and high torsional rigidity from ski tip to tail while weight is kept to a minimum. By integrating a Carbon Backbone into the core of the ski, Atomic’s new Vantage Series delivers exceptional running stability, tuned longitudinal and torsional flex patterns, incredible edge grip and integrated reinforcement for maximum performance.

Additional Features
Step Down Sidewall: the extremely durable sidewall construction below the binding improves damping, shock absorption, and therefore edge grip. Half-cap construction at the tip and tail protects the ski from mechanical damage.

We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
