Get ready for your face to cramp from the non-stop smiling - Armada has perfected joy riding with the Cantika! The Armada Cantika Skis are lightweight, all-mountain skis that'll keep you ripping all day long. Their wide tip width and plenty of side-cut allow for easy turn initiation and a quick turning radius. The Cantika is the perfect ski for nothing but good vibrations all the way down the mountain.
Positive Camber – Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge control.
Flex Pattern - Tip: 5, Waist: 7, Tail: 6 (1=soft; 10=stiff)
Fleet Core – Laminated wood core with 2 high density wood stringers, and with a slow sidewall taper to 45 degrees toward the tips and tails. This eases entry and exit into and out of turns for lighter riders.
Laminate Matrix – Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity and allows each ski's flex to be precisely tuned. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex; Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski; Tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
CAP Construction – This method wraps the wood core with composite fiberglass layers creating a torsion box. The base assembly is inserted into the mold, then the fiberglass wrapped core and top material are added. A variable slant between the base and topsheet creates a super-durable and light ski with a balanced flex.
S7 Base – Armada's toughest base is durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
2.5 Impact Edge – This edge has an oversized height and width, and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness, which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
