I got this jacket to replace an older Orage and was so excited when I got it out of the box. The outer layer is a soft shell-like material but thicker and they thought of all the little details--zip-off hood, really soft fleece wrist gaiters, lots of well-placed pockets. My only complaint is that the fit is a little boxy. I'm 5'3", 130, with wide shoulders and chest. The medium fit well through the shoulders but was huge everywhere else. The small is a bit snug there and I still don't much care much for the way it fits me but it's super comfy and warm and my boyfriend loves it so its a keeper.
