Comments about Oakley Lava Jacket:

Don't get me wrong I love the look of this jacket, and how it functions but I think the design could have been tweaked a bit. I understand Eero needs a jacket that he can keep warm in while sessioning Scandanavian street features in the middle of the night. That being said for me I over heat in this jacket with just a base layer, I prefer something a bit less insulated if at all. Another thing that this didn't have that I have grown accustom to and will make sure I take into consideration for my next jacket is mesh in the zips even on the jacket. It just helps cut and regulate the wind when I am looking for some cool down. Last thing is the functionality of the carrying strap, I like the thought but I feel like it needs to be refined. I don't notice it riding but when I am putting it on or taking it off its a pain. I am tempted to cut mine out.

Those items aside this is by far the most stylish piece from Oakley's line this year. The fits is great and has a clean look on the outside. I have full mobility, in it. The magnetic flap is nice, no longer do I have to worry about snaps getting iced over.

4 out of 5 for me on this one. Not disappointed by any means but moving forward I know more what I am looking for in a jacket.
