Marmot Free Skier Jacket - Women's

The Marmot Free Skier Jacket is designed to keep you protected and warm when variable weather conditions have you confused on what jacket to wear. Low temps, no problems. With Thermal R™ insulation, the cold won't be able to penetrate through the jacket's defenses, yet it allows you to remain cool with Marmot's MemBrain® fabric, which is breathable and highly waterproof. The attached Storm Hood is helmet compatible, so your gear will integrate nicely with the jacket. The powder skirt zips off when it's not needed. The jacket also features plenty of pockets, making this a perfect all-mountain jacket.

      I live in Telluride, CO and this jacket has been perfect. I wear it out on the mountain and around town. It's the perfect amount of insulation that it can be layered on a cold day or worn with just a t shirt on those days for spring skiing. The perfect in between a shell and an insulated jacket.

        I took this jacket out skiing four days this winter. If it was cold and windy - it kept me warm. When it was warm and sunny - it was breathable. I love the hood because it doesn't mess up my hair when I'm just walking around town, but it also goes over my helmet and keeps the wind out. This jacket is really light weight and it is easy to pack for ski and work trips. I wish it had more outside pockets but I like the two zippered pockets on the inside. It's a nice fitted jacket. The zippers are sealed up great...they don't let wind through.
