Burton Hackett Jacket

The Burton Hackett Jacket is born of the Burton Mountain Gentry Series, which features traditional silhouettes pulling design cues from time honored utility work and vintage outdoor wear. The Burton Hackett Jacket features a classic flannel design in an antifreeze package that is sure to keep you warm and dry this year.
Outer Material
DRYRIDE 2L Durashell - This coated yarn-dyed flannel plaid fabric features technical weatherproofing and breathable properties in a buttery soft yet bomber package.
Insulation
3M Thinsulate™ Insulation - Quad Package mapped with 40 g of Thinsulate™ in both body and sleeves: This insulation is constructed from unique, high-loft microfibers for increased warmth with less bulk. Breathable, water-resistant and durable, it's proving there's substance to the cliche: less is more. This insulation will enable you to get focused breathability where it matters most and variable levels of insulation to keep warmth efficient and effective.
Lining Material
Diamond Quilted Taffeta - Taffeta lining offers a crisp, high-end feel woven from a mix of synthetic fibers which wicks great and breathes easily.
Fit
Team Fit - Two inches added to the body and one inch added to the sleeve lengths compared to the Sig Fit for a more baggy style
Style
Maple syrup farmer is mashed up with technical outerwear in the Hackett Jacket. It's equally at home on the streets of Seattle as it is on the slopes of Stevens Pass.
Pockets
Dual handwarmer and chest pockets
Sound/goggle pocket
Vents
Pit Zips™
Additional Features
Critically taped seams
Flip-up collar shield
Bonded heathered fleece Contour™ hood
Removable waist gaiter with jacket-to-pant interface

          Comments about Burton Hackett Jacket:

Team fit = huge. I usually wear large jackets so I bought a medium because and that was STILL too big. Ended up sending the medium back and now I'm wearing a small in this jacket.

Snap-button to keep the wrist cuff ALWAYS comes undone without fail. Why not a zipper or a real button? Got snow all up in my sleeves all day on Sunday.

Jacket is hardly waterproof, it'll keep you from getting soaked but other than that the flannel part does nothing but soak water.

And who's idea was it to put a regular hood on a snowboarding jacket? That gets soaked too. Burton, throw on a polyester hood next time.

Looks good, that's about it. No inner pocket, too.

          Comments about Burton Hackett Jacket:

I like the Burton Hackett jacket because it is unique to other jackets I have found on the hill. The Hackett jacket is waterproof and durable so it can be used on the mountain but it is also cool enough to wear around town.
