Comments about Armada Harlaut Insulated Jacket:
I purchased the Armada Harlaut Jacket this winter, and it is the best piece of outerwear I have ever purchased. I bought a Large, which does fit a bit on the bigger side, but it fits pretty well on my tall, lanky body. I'm 6'3" for reference. It does fit just a tad snug on very cold days, when I'm wearing several layers under it, but still it doesn't restrict movement like other jackets I've owned have. The Sleeves could be a little bit longer, but for a person with more of an average body size, it should fit pretty perfectly. The length of it goes to just above mid thigh which is a very likeable length. It is a comfortable jacket.
The zippers on all of the pockets are very smooth, and I have had zero problems with them, which is not the case with a lot of jackets. The pockets are a little on the small side, but thats not a problem as there are tons of them. Theres no doubt you'll be able to find a place to stash all of your goodies.
Before I bought this jacket, I hated wearing jackets. They always felt way too heavy and restricting to me, and so I would always wear a bunch of layers with a hoodie or flannel over top. While this was a likeable setup for me, it wasn't always a very good option. On windy days the cold chill would go straight through the layers, and on days colder than 20 degrees fahrenheit, I would not even be able to ski unless I wore my crummy, ugly jacket. But this has all changed as the Armada Harlaut jacket is Extremely warm, ridiculously light, unrestricting, and cuts out all of the wind. It also doesn't get soaking wet. It's waterproofing is awesome.
This is also a very durable jacket. I've taken it through trees and crashes in the park where I was sure the jacket would have gotten ripped or at least gotten marks, but this is not the case. It still has yet to get even the smallest of blemishes.
I am a very satisfied customer. Armada has made another awesome, stylish and durable product with the Armada Harlaut Jacket.
