This award winning, full performance helmet is equipped with the Boa® retention system and built with Smith’s Hybrid Shell construction that has received the highest compliment Smith could hope for, competitor imitation.
Vents
AirEvac 2 Ventilation connects shell vents and internal EPS channels to increase airflow and evacuate warm, moist air to prevent goggle fogging. Cool, dry air is constantly pulled into to the goggle as the warm, moist air is exhausted over the wearer’s head and out the rear of the helmet.
Internal airflow can be adjusted through the helmet’s regular climate control system.

Goggle Compatibility
Removable goggle lock securely retains the goggle strap on the helmet to ensure stability, comfort, and performance.
Adjustability
Adjustable Boa® Fit System
Snapfit ear pads are ergonomically designed to be form fitting and comfortable, and are made for easy on and off.
Additional Features
Hybrid shell construction combines two separate lightweight and durable shell materials optimizing the favorable characteristics of each resulting in a minimal volume, lightweight and safe helmet. Vent shutters slide directly below the shell surface leaving am sooth, clean surface when closed.
X-static performance lining is a silver impregnated textile fiber that enhances products with permanent and natural anti-odor, anti-static, and thermodynamic properties.
Compatible with Skullcandy® audio systems

    Overall is a very good helmet, feels right, fits right on my small head. S/M.
    But when I have the vents closed and ski over some harder terrain it "rattles" from the ventilation parts. It fits perfectly with the Smith I/O goggle as it should, which makes it ideal when it´s cold and windy.

    For too long I've avoided wearing a helmet believing they were uncomfortable, bulky, and unnecessary. After numerous close calls with trees and insistence from others, I picked up this helmet. I'm not sure why I held out so long. It fits well, keeps my head warm, and I barely notice the weight. Great integration with my goggles too. Looking forward to using it in the Rockies and glorified trash heaps here in the Midwest.

          bought this to replce an old Leedom helmet, but I am going back to it. this helmet provides no warmth and the wind noise is nearly unbearable. have to wear a hat underneath, and then it makes my ears hurt too. yech.
