Comments about Sandbox Low Rider Certified Helmet:

The company is advertising this as a certified snow helmet and it IS NOT SNOW CERTIFIED!
The only Sandbox Helmet that is snow certified ( CE EN 1077) is the Sandbox Classic.
This 'Low Rider' Sandbox helmet is only certified for Water Sports (CE EN1385) such as Wakeboarding/Wakeskate. This helmet features a foam material called "EVA". This is a soft material that claims it is multi-impact; techniqually it is true for mild-moderate impacts however, the material compresses and never fully returns back to a safe protection state. The only helmets that are snow certified are ones that use EPA foam as these a single impact helmets.
In all, the Sandbox Classic is certified under EN 1077 (the euro standards) and NOT ASTM (North American Standards). However, as it meets EURO standards it is 'OKAY' to be sold as a snow sport helmet.
IN NO WAY IS THIS HELMET (Low rider) SAFE TO USE ON SNOW.

Comments about Sandbox Low Rider Certified Helmet:

This is a pretty sweet helmet. It is VERY lightweight compared to my previous helmet and my friends' helmets (Bern & Red helmets). The design is simple and looks really cool. It comes with lots of different pads so you'll be able to make it fit. Definitely recommend this to anyone who skis or boards
