The Giro Shiv 2 Helmet sticks it in the ribs of old-school skate buckets with a host of technical improvements that make it lighter, cooler and safer. This thing looks like your old hard shell street lid but it's made with In-Mold construction for lightness and features 8 big Super Cool™ vents with Weatherstrip™ shields.
Construction
In-Mold Construction - Fuses a tough polycarbonate shell with an impact-absorbing foam liner, allowing for lighter weight helmets with superior venting
Ventilation
Weatherstrip Vent Shields - These seal off vents in extremely cold conditions, using a Hook-and-Loop Fastener tab to open or close the vent, but can't be misplaced like vent plugs.
Super Cool™ Vents - 8 Super Cool™ vents pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out.
