Giro Shiv 2 Helmet 2012: Freestyle helmet style in the Giro Shiv 2 makes for a clean, utilitarian helmet wtih some stealthy tech to boot. In Mold™ construction keeps it super light and Giro’s interior subliner lets you run your goggles inside your lid. Plus the Giro Shiv 2 helmet boasts an all new updated fit and a removable padding system.
Vents
8 Super Cool™ vents that pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out
Weatherstrip™ vent shields work to seal of vents in extremely cold conditions. A Velcro tab secures the shield when not in use to allow proper ventilation. Simply open the Velcro tab to unroll the shield over its corresponding vent
Goggle Compatibility
Goggle compatible under or over helmet
Interior goggle channel is a removable pad at the base of the helmet that conceals a deep channel that allows more room for your goggle strap if you want to run it inside your helmet.

Interior subliner allows you to customize your pads or pull them out completely for the ultimate in ride tuned fit
Additional Features
In-Mold construction fuses a tough polycarbonate shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-Mold helmets can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
