Comments about Anon Wren Helmet - Women's:
I ordered this helmet for the new season and couldn't be more disappointed with the design flaws and the manufacturer's QC. The product I ordered was size S with the BOA fit (so 52-55cm) as I am 53cm. However, the product I received was actually size M (56-59cm). It was my mistake to not check and try it on upon receipt, but I've had many other helmets before and never once experienced any bad fitting. So I took it up the mountain and got to try it on there, and the fitting was HORRIBLE (even with size M). It was way too small and I don't even have big head. However, since it fitted very snuggly I thought it would be okay to just wait it out and maybe I would feel better later in it. Oh how wrong I was. After the first 30 mins my head started hurting like crazy. The BOA adjusting system was terribly placed in the helmet. They're like these pieces of bulky plastic with wires linked to the knob in the back and the main parts was these two big pieces right on your temple. With this terrible design plus the fact that the padding inside was very thin, the plastic pieces ended up pressing so hard on your temple causing the crease on your head. It was very bad I had to take it off every 15 minutes and at one point, thinking of removing all of them BOA mechanic inside the helmet just so I could enjoy the ride properly.
All in all, this was a very bad design product that offers nothing close to comfortability. With this horrible fit, I don't think it can protect you well from the fall either. I don't know about the other Anon helmets and how comfortable they are, but stay away from this model unless you want to take a chance with their weird sizing! I've Giro and Smith, both fit perfectly and the sizing is accurate. Worst purchase ever.
Service and delivery comments:
Wrong product was sent. Ordered size S, instead received size M, and size M still wouldn't fit because of its wrong sizing information.
