Can't beat the peripheral vision. I tried on the other large frame goggles from smith, anon, and a couple others, but the fish bowl greater viewing area, especially on the far corners. My lenses is meant for flat light so can't comment on others, but used it in typical NW conditions and had great clarity. Definitely a good purchase. Only down side is a ridicoulous side band on it.
