Goggle Review

By

from Ontario, Canada

Comments about Smith I/OX Goggles:

My only complaint about this product is that in the cold weather they freeze up on cold days.I have a Smith helmet as well, which I love. I ski at Mt Tremblant in Quebec where the temperature can really drop. the problem is so bad that I carry two pair of goggles on cold days which defeats the purpose of interchangeable lens. Any suggestions ? John

    Comments about Smith I/OX Goggles:

Love this. Also have Anon magnetic ones, once lens popped off when slammed on back, love both, but the smith iox is more durable. i can wear my glasses under and change lenses. it takes a minute to change these lenses and you need to make sure it snaps in the nose holes properly (or it leaks air if its not assembled correctly) the only ones I like better are the kind with a built in video camera which i haven't tried but my friend has. if you only get one lens get the pink ones.

        Comments about Smith I/OX Goggles:

I really like the wide field of view with these goggles and the fact that they come with an extra lens (day/night). The rubber backing on the strap keeps the goggles snug on my helmet and aside from other Smith helmets they fit perfectly with the Anon Blitz helmet. They are comfortable and I haven't had a problem at all with fogging. My only complaint is that the lens is a bit time consuming/difficult to change out, but the fact that you can do it at all is nice.

          Comments about Smith I/OX Goggles:

Pulled the trigger on these goggles and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The Blackout lens is perfect for a bluebird day while the Red Sensor Mirror is great for night riding and low-light conditions. The lenses are super easy to change out, it's a great look, and the visibility is solid with minimal fogging. Would strongly recommend this product - especially using it with a Smith helmet for maximum ventilation.
