Inspired by the Swedish architect Sigurd Lewerentz, who put the windows of his buildings on the outside of the window frames, the POC Lobes Goggles are built with a similar concept. Keeping the lens on the outside of the frame maximizes the field of vision, while creating a stylish look that is surely different from all the other cookie-cutter goggles on the mountain. The Lobes also feature Triple Layer Face Foam to keep the fit comfortable, and to insulate your eyes against the cold, brisk air rushing past your face.
Soft Coated Polyurethane Frame As an alternative to hard plastic frames, POC goggles are made of soft, comfortable and flexible polyurethane. This promotes safety in case of impact; the frame spreads and absorbs some of the impact energy, instead of transmitting it straight to the face.
Optimized Field of View To have an unobstructed view when skiing or snowboarding is crucial. POC’s goggles are designed to give a wider field of view, which allows the rider to react earlier to objects approaching from the sides, and promotes safety by increasing the chances of avoiding collisions.
