Product Info

The Anon M2 Goggles combine magic technology with Anon's proven lens technology to create a goggle that's so easy to swap lenses on, gravity (or anti-gravity) could do it itself. It's been known since the time of witches and heathens that magnets channel dark magical properties to work, and Anon has reigned in some of the most powerful rare-earth magnets and enslaved them in the M2 frames. The 8 magnet pairs embedded in the frame allow for easy swap of Anon's spherical dual-layer lenses. Full perimeter channel venting and ICT anti-fog work hard to prevent fog buildup while the triple layer face foam ensures that the Magical Frames of Darkness stay comfortable on your face. The M2 Goggles acknowledge the fact that most wearers don't want a goggle big enough for the sun, and have provided a reasonable medium / large frame that maintains ludicrous peripheral vision.

Product Details

Frame

Lightweight Thermoplastic Polyurethane FrameThoroughly tested on hill and in the lab, Anon's TPU has the highest resistance to abrasion, maintains consistent flexibility in changing temperatures and has superior elasticity to fit every face shape.

Wall-to-Wall VisionHigh-performance riding demands the best possible field of vision. Wall-to-Wall incorporates optimal optics, low-profile frames and 40% thinner face foam, producing an ultra-close fit that eliminates the peripheral vision impairments of typical goggle construction. The result is a truly unobstructed viewing experience.

Lens

Anon's Spherical Lens TechnologyAnon's Spherical Lens construction combines decentered technology with a lens curvature that mimics the curvature of the human eye for superior optics in all directions.

Integral Clarity Technology (ICT)Anon's ICT anti-fog treatment delivers crystal clear vision, no matter what the elements throw at you. Starting with a porous cellulose inner lens surface for superior water shedding above and beyond standard acetate lenses, Anon applies its chemically etched ICT anti-fog treatment for long-lasting clarity. ICT works in tandem with full perimeter Channel venting to tell moisture to go fog itself.

Magna-Tech Quick Lens Change TechnologyThe cat's pajamas of lens change systems, M1 Magna-Tech uses 14 rare-earth magnets at seven magnetic connection points around the perimeter of the frame that when fully bonded with self-aligning engagement, the combined retention can hold 16.5 pounds. Solid.

TRU-V™ Polycarbonate LensAll anon. lenses offer 100% UV protection that exceeds ANSI Z87.1 impact test standards

Solex™anon.'s proprietary reflective and mirror coating. This unique mirror coating process helps to reduce glare, and coupled with anon.'s Solex™ base tint, improves contrast for increased depth perception in any terrain.

Ventilation

Full Perimeter Channel VentingAnon's Full Perimeter Channel Venting ensures maximum airflow, bringing fresh air into the goggle while pulling moisture away from the lens. Full Perimeter Channel Venting works in tandem with ICT to provide clear, fog-free vision in all conditions.

Strap

Flush Mount OutriggerEngineered to adapt to all face shapes and sizes, anon.'s outrigger systems distribute pressure evenly for the best possible fit and proper goggle to helmet alignment

      Comments about Anon M2 Goggles:

A great field of vision and very comfortable. Fits perfectly with a Bern helmet (the baseball cap style), not sure about other helmet brands. Chose the gold chrome lens which is great for the medium/low light conditions we are used to here in New England, however if you are lucky enough to be out west at high altitude with tons of sunshine and no trees then perhaps you might want a darker lens. It should also be noted that mine came with a spare low-light condition lens, a huge plus. The icing on the cake is the M2's highly convenient magnet lens change system.

      Comments about Anon M2 Goggles:

I used these on opening day at Baker. The mountain condition was unpacked powder. I took a header on my first run. The goggles cleaned up nicely, held up to the impact, and kept clear for the remainder of the day.

They fit well with the Anon Rodan Helmet. I was not looking to buy a helmet, but they fit so nicely as a pair I just went for it.

These goggles are expensive, but they are worth the price in my opinion. EVO's price match policy is what keeps me coming back for more.

      Service and delivery comments:

EVO is amazing. Great service, good customer support, quick shipping, good return policy. What more could you ask for.

          Comments about Anon M2 Goggles:

I like the goggle but am disappointed that it does not fit well with my Smith Vantage helmet. I tried it on with the helmet before buying but once I started skiing the bumps, the helmet was pressuring the goggles down over my nose when I hit the snow hard. But the goggle has a great lens replacement system and wide range of view. It fits my face better then the Smith IO goggle I bought last year although I'll still use that occasionally. I like the Anon M2 enough to be looking for a helmet that will be a better match for the goggles. I've only worn it on low visibility days and the Blue Lagoon lenses has worked well. Crashed a few times and the lens has not moved. Not high impact crashes but I have no reason to believe the lens retention system will fail, it seems secure to me.
