Great Spring and Fall glove, not a winter glove.

Comments about The North Face Denali Gloves:

I use these when backpacking in mid to late spring and early to mid fall. They are great, lightweight and wind resistant. However if the temps dip below 35 and windy your hands will get cold. A great overall glove for cool temps from 40-60 degrees. Anything under 40 I would suggest a winter glove.

NOT for even mildly cold or windy weather

    By

    from Cleveland, OH

Comments about The North Face Denali Gloves:

I bought these gloves for a basic walk to the office in winter. I expected them to keep my hands warm and to shield my hands from the wind. They did neither. I wore them on a mildly cold day (20) with very little wind. Within minutes my hands were cold. Every time there was a small gust of wind, I felt it.

I returned them with the reason "Quality not as expected". With that reason I was surprised that I need to pay shipping to return the product. I understand that I would need to pay shipping if I simply did not like the gloves, but I am not happy to pay shipping to return a product that is not of good quality.

Comments about The North Face Denali Gloves:

Bought these to accompany me to the Himalaya in October 2015 for a trek to Everest Base Camp and a "small" satellite peak at the base of Everest's Southwest face. Needed a glove that was warm but light weight and still nimble enough to use my camera without taking them off. They fit very well and initial indications are that they will perform very nicely. They will work well on dry days at the ski hill too.

      Not a winter glove

Comments about The North Face Denali Gloves:

This is the best non-winter glove that I've ever own. I don't wear them in super cold Kansas City, MO winter weather 10 degrees and lower(unless it's not windy).

Your hand will be in a natural position(always nice).
