To become that scroungy, old beach legend that can only be seen riding out in tropical storm conditions, you'll need some gnar fins to protect you from slipping out to your death. Futures V2F4 5-Fin Set are curated exactly for this transformation. Combining Future's most popular thruster set up with the F-4 Quads sets your board up for versatile riding that isn't limited to the big ones - but it definitely shines where the dabblers can't ride. Constructed with Honeycomb, these fins bring a medium flex but thicker tips making sure they hold rail when they need to. Get A.R.A.P. (As Rad As Possible) and become a local legend with the Futures V2F4 5-Fin Set.
Honeycomb – A lightweight hexagonal core gives these fins the feel of glass-ons. Engineered with a medium flex pattern, stiffer than Blackstix but more flexible than Fiberglass.
Front Fins – Height: 4.37" / Base: 4.22" / Area: 14.22" / Foil: V2
Rear Fins – Height: 3.75" / Base: 3.64" / Area: 10.90" / Foil: Symmetrical
Center Fin – Height: 4.37" / Base: 4.22" / Area: 14.22" / Foil: Symmetrical
Symmetrical Foil – Symmetrical foil rear fins on quads give a fluid consistent feeling that is predictable in all conditions, especially when the rear fins are set off the rail, closer to the stringer.
V2 Foil – A V2 Foil is a V. Foil and Flat Foil blend. It takes the best speed generating attributes of the V. (at the base) and transitions into a flat foil in the tip for a controlled release in critical turns. Try the V2 foil if you are transitioning from flat sided fins. The benefits of the V. foil base will be noticeable but the change for your muscle memory will not be too drastic.
Ride Number 8.4/10 – Ride Number is all about how your equipment feels while you're surfing. Now you can choose a Speed Generating Feel that is springy and responsive by picking a fin in the 10-7 range, or a solid, engaged, and predictable feel from the Speed Control category rated 4-1. For a Balanced feel try a Ride Number of 7-4.
