Faction, which has been around since 2006, and is based in Switzerland and Breckenridge, Colorado, blew up on the scene hard and fast. Maybe it’s because they pulled Candide Thovex, arguably the best skier ever, onto their team, but we think it’s because they make banger skis and outerwear. Their promise is that “Every product we make is born in the Alps and refined on the hill.”
They say they live for the first chair and ride until last light, and with evo Collective Tim McChesney on board, we believe it. The Faction Collective is perhaps the most ambitious team of skiers around, consistently putting out stunning adventure ski edits from Kazakhstan to Patagonia.
We Are the Faction Collective S03E3
This year, Faction updated the award winning Candide 4.0 skis by adding a multi-radius sidecut and a bit of camber underfoot for a bit more all-mountain versatility. They've also completely re-designed the all-mountain destroying Prodigy while adding a women's version, too. Faction is also coming in strong with jackets and pants - modern cuts and designs, top-tier weather protection and futuristic insulation called Aerogel combine for an impressive array of outerwear to match their skis.
