The Ride Machete Snowboard is back for its 7th year to rip, slash and cause havoc to anything that comes in its way on the slopes. The Machete is quickly becoming a tried and true classic choice for all mountain and park oriented riders. The Machete is built to be a loose, playful twin board that performs wildly from park to corduroy to sidecountry. If you ride hard like the Machete wants you to it won't bust down anytime soon thanks to 50% thicker steel edges and a durable sintered base. Features like Slimewall® Sidewalls and the LowRize™ Rocker Shape give the Machete its renown versatility and ability to shred.
LowRize™ Rocker – A twin rockered shape that gently lifts the contact points out of the snow to avoid catching an edge and has a nearly flat zone under foot.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – This snowboard has a medium flex rating that is more playful and forgiving than it is precise and stiff.
Twin – A twin snowboard is perfect for riders who want to ride switch sometimes too.
Pop Rods® 1.0 Core – Ride placed a carbon rod in the tip and/or tail to add pop, liveliness and playfulness without making the board stiff all over. The flat carbon rods wrap a urethane slime-core that helps smooth out landings.
Carbon Array 3™ – This laminate technology provides total board control in every stance location. Three widespread carbon stringers are placed under the bindings where the rider energy-input is channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Biaxial Glass – 90° and 0° angles are fun and forgiving. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Slimewalls® – Ride's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smooths the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you ride on.
Fusion 4000™ Base – The sintered base makes for a durable and fast ride.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Cleave Edge™ Steel – Ride adds nearly 50% more steel to the edges to deliver unmatched resistance to impact. No cracked edges. With extra steel, the edges can be detuned to achieve a larger radius.
