Originally designed in 1989, the T.T160 shape remains a force to be reckoned with in today's world thanks to updates along the way. A rocker profile that has morphed over the years now features a totally flat underfoot profile with nose rocker and a slimmer waist ideal for high speed carving. Other changes include fiberglass and core profile updates, along with size and shape modifications. The Gentemstick T.T160 Snowboard embodies joy-carving while remaining lightweight and nimble for the freeride-oriented, so strap in and prepare for a fast ride that can also get frisky on natural features.
Flat Camber – When riding in powder on traditional cambered boards, the nose drags snow and eventually sinks. To prevent nosediving, the rider is forced to lean back and turn only with the tail. This phenomena also happens in three dimensional terrain. This restriction is silly to have on boards for complex terrain. Flat Camber came from the skiing know-how. Gentemstick adopted and refined it for maneuverability in complex three-dimensional terrain. The weightless, resistance-free sensation when riding, especially late in a turn, are the distinct characteristics of the Gentemstick flat camber system.
